Bob and Houdini
Bob and Houdini are fully flighted pair of conures. Bob will step up and give kisses, but Houdini needs a little more training. They can get loud, as most parrots do when they want attention. They are not DNA sexed. They seem okay with children. They're okay with other parrots in the house, but not so much with other animals.
George is a 12 year old extremely adorable African Grey. He's missing a few toes, but that doesn't slow him down! He loves, loves, loves head scratches and does not hesitate to bow his head down to receive them. He also gives kisses. He does step up and is happy to hang out on your shoulder. Although he can't (or doesn't want) to fly, he's quite content to hang out all day on his cage or perch.
Introducing Bobi! A very sweet, gentle, and busy Goffin cockatoo. Loves everyone and spent the afternoon going from one board members shoulder to another. Apparently he does talk, but after an afternoon of wing trims and a pedicure, maybe we don't want to know what's on his mind! 😂.
Powder is a very loving, and as with most cockatoos, demanding 23 year old parrot. She loves to play with her food. In fact, she likes to hide pellets in her feathers and save them for later. 😂. So cute! Her favourite treat is an almond, but it has to be in the shell. A spray bottle bath is always welcome. Her mommy is teaching her to step up.
Sweet, wee Kelz went to a very understanding home where she is loved despite all her quirky behaviours.
Charlie is a quiet and reserved cockatiel, approximately 3 years old and has now found her forever home.
Heeeere's Johnny!! Well, not really. This is Charger, a talkative, entertaining little Senegal, officially adopted in August, 2016. Congratulations to Charger and his adoptive parronts!!

Yoshi is a 10 year old male Eclectus parrot who has found his forever home. Congratulations to his new family! He is one in a million.
After a long stay at SPR, Caprice has been adopted!! Way to go Caprice!! Interesting story for Caprice. It turns out her orginal owner had to surrender her because her work took her away from home. She lost track of her whereabouts, and then seeing Caprice on our Facebook page, contacted us, and the rest is history! Caprice's life has come full circle. So incredibly happy for Caprice to be reunited with her people that loved her so much.
Little Jo is a sweet little cockatiel who LOVES head scratches. She has no problem pushing her head under your hand until you give in. Congrats to Josephine and her new family! She has an amazing forever home.
Mango Boy has been adopted. Congratulations to his new parronts. He's a funny and entertaining fellow.
Sammy has been adopted and is loving learning new things and watching football with his new mommy. Congratulations Sammy and Dawn.
Major has been adopted!! He's doing fantastic with his new family. Congratulations! He's one handsome, happy boy.

Mick is a fully flighted 5 year old Green Cheek Conure. He LOVES to eat. Partially hand tamed, but with training is getting much better. He lives in a HUGE cage donated specifically to Mick. He loves to spend time hanging out with his people or on his swing. He does have his noisy periods, as with most parrots. He can be your own personal alarm as he lets you know when someone is coming into the house. He's very curious and entertaining.
Hi my name is Olive the quaker! I am very loving and affectionate girl. I love to just sit and hang out on your shoulder. I am shy at first, but I warm up quickly! I wear a collar due to the fact that I like to pluck my feathers. It doesn't hurt me at all. I am a very loud and proud girl, so I have to only be adopted into a home that will allow me to be myself. My foster mom gives me fruits and veggies and I love them. I love to have baths and showers. I am also very good with kids once I warm up to them!
Fernando, well known as Buzz Saw in the SPR family went to her new home with Sage last year. She is finally enjoying some head scratches.

Demi is a 6 year old Senegal Parrot. Her parronts adopted her last year. She is an absolute doll with loads of personality who has won the hearts of her new people.
